The challenges facing marriage seem to escalate continually. Increasingly men and women trying to build strong, fun, loving marriages which their children will want to duplicate are finding little help in our society. Expectations are high for men . . . the price of marriage failure is profound. This discussion will lead us through marriage issues from a Biblical, male perspective. Calvary Church Biblical Beliefs (begins January 28)

So . . . what are our foundational, doctrinal beliefs at Calvary? Do you agree with them? The Evangelical Free Church of America has recently revised its “Doctrinal Statement of Faith”. Taught by our Elders, this class will work through each of the 12 statements giving you ample opportunity to wrestle with the Scriptures supporting them. Your questions will be welcome.
(We’ll likely repeat this class on an annual basis.)

The Power and Practice of Prayer in a Turbulent World

the teaching will focus on styles, patterns, models of prayer; hindrances/obstacles
to prayer; power in prayer; spiritual warfare prayer; Scripture prayer; all in the
intimacy of the relationship Jesus enjoyed with His Father and offers to us . . .
“ask ANYTHING in My name”! Significant time will be given to PRAYING! Join us,
expecting to see the power of your faith and your prayer relationship with God
undergo a radical change!

AWANA Clubs - age 2&3-grade 4
AWANA assists children in comprehension and retention of memorized Scripture. Caring adults help children know Jesus Christ and His truths through “Handbook
time.” Activity is important and AWANA games have been a favorite of children for generations. Special events, regional competition, patriotism, music, drama and so much more make AWANA spectacular!

Expedition 56 - 5th & 6th graders
Expedition 56 combines drama, music, scr ipture memorizat ion and creative teaching of God’s truth in a high energy, large group gathering for spiritual impact! “Mentor groups” provide gifted adult leaders extended t ime with a small, gender-specific group of pre-teens for discussion aimed at internalizing spiritual truths for life change and practical application. “Team games” is fun with purpose! Exciting games help teammates work together in mutually supportive effort
toward a specified objective. Expedition 56 is designed to lead children into the early teen years discover ing Jesus and themselves |
JUNIOR HIGH STUDENTS (THE PIER)- 7th & 8th graders
Here is an evening where young people spend time with caring and
dedicated adul ts, whi le connecting with fr iends, participat ing in crazy
games and talking through challenging topics which encourage students
to examine who God has made them to be.
SENIOR HIGH STUDENTS (THE STRAND) - 9th-12th graders
An exciting new initiative where you can be heard! A time for the church to stop
“preaching” at students in High School and listen to them, their culture and issues
they face in everyday life. Meeting at a local coffee shop with Pastor Dave, all Sr. High students are welcome to stop in, hang out, share
and be heard as we wrestle with relevant issues of your world through the lens of
God’s Word. In addition to this, Sr. High students are also encouraged to serve as
leaders in AWANA or Expedition 56.

Nothing connects God’s people with God more than prayer!
MINISTRY #2: Worship Choir Rehearsal
No auditions necessary, rehearsal is 6:30-8:30 pm each Wednesday.
